Choose WordPress fixesA broken checkout is the most expensive problem a shop can have, because it fails quietly. Customers don't usually tell you the payment failed, they just buy somewhere else. If you've had a sudden drop in orders with no obvious reason, check the checkout yourself with a real card. If it fails, message me and say it's urgent.
Some problems need more than a single fix. These get their own fixed quote:
If you're copying orders into other systems by hand, that can usually be automated. Common jobs are Royal Mail labels created automatically, DPD and Evri shipping, invoices sent to Xero, PayPal checkout and SMS order updates. That's API integration work, quoted from a short written spec. See automating a WooCommerce store with APIs.
Most broken stores weren't hacked or badly built. They were left to update themselves, or not updated at all. The care plan covers hosting, updates checked by a person, security monitoring and small edits for £20 a month.
If the problem is on the WordPress side rather than the shop itself, see WordPress fixes. For Shopify stores, see Shopify fixes.
Usually not. Where a fix carries any risk, I test it on a copy of the site first, or do it at a quiet time you choose. Your shop keeps taking orders while I work.
The store address and what's going wrong (a screenshot or the error message helps). Once you've agreed the price, a temporary admin login, plus your payment provider or hosting login if the problem is there.
Say it's urgent when you message. A shop that can't take payments jumps the queue, and I'll aim to have it taking orders again the same day.
I'll tell you what's involved and give you a fixed price before doing anything. You decide whether to go ahead.
No. I take a full backup before changing anything, and I never delete orders or customers. Where I'm testing on a copy, real orders keep going to the live shop.
The care plan covers hosting, updates checked by a person, security monitoring and small edits, so someone is watching the store between orders.
